Publisher: Bollé Communications inc., operating the PPN Source® platform (hereinafter "PPN Source," "the platform," or "we"). PPN Source® is a registered trademark in Canada (Reg. No. 1984168).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing the PPN Source platform (the "Site") or using its press release distribution services, RSS news feed, media channels, or any associated content (collectively, the "Services"), you acknowledge that you:
have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms");
understand that continued use of the Services after a change to the Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, you must stop using the Site and the Services.
2. Services Offered by PPN Source
PPN Source is an independent digital news agency. The Services are offered according to the plans described on the Services page and are subject to these Terms.
2.1 Press Release Distribution and Publication
Publication:
posting of the press release on a PPN Source channel, sharing across social media (X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Bluesky), multimedia integration, SEO indexing, and online retention for the period specified in the selected plan.
Distribution to media:
delivery of the press release to journalists, newsrooms, influencers, and digital platforms through customized media lists, with professional editorial review.
Acceptable content:
press releases must be lawful, accurate, non-misleading, and non-defamatory. PPN Source reserves the right to refuse or remove any non-compliant content, according to the grounds set out on the Refusal reasons page.
2.2 RSS News Feed
Access:
reserved for authorized media and subscribers.
Permitted use:
for editorial purposes only (use in articles, reports, broadcasts).
Prohibitions:
commercial or unauthorized redistribution, modification of content, hyperlinks, or presentation order, archiving without written authorization, and removal of source attributions ("PPN Source").
2.3 Media Channels and E-commerce Space
Dedicated channel:
certain plans allow an issuer to obtain its own channel, public or private, embeddable on its website.
Content sales:
eligible creators (photographers, videographers, correspondents) may, under the applicable plan, offer exclusive media files for sale. Financial terms, including the commission paid to the creator, are specified in the subscribed plan. PPN Source acts as an intermediary platform and is not the author of content offered for sale by creators.
2.4 Secure Platform
Ad-free:
the member area and RSS feed are free of third-party advertising.
Security:
personal information is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
3. Pricing and Orders
Plans:
the Services are offered under several plans, starting at CAD $99 per press release. The prices, inclusions, and durations in effect are those displayed on the Services page at the time of the order.
Order process:
the user must provide accurate and complete information (name, contact details, payment information). Creating an account is required to submit a press release.
Order refusal:
PPN Source may refuse an order, in particular for non-compliant content, pricing errors, unavailability, or suspected fraud.
Refunds:
refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Rights granted to consumers by applicable law remain reserved.
4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Rights in the Platform
The platform, its design, logos, the registered trademark "PPN Source®," and the texts, images, videos, audio files, software, and code it contains (the "Content") are the property of PPN Source, its licensors, or its content suppliers. The Content is protected by Canadian and international copyright and trademark laws.
4.2 Use Restrictions
Except with the written authorization of PPN Source, you may not:
copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, or commercially exploit the Content or the platform;
use the Content for promotional or advertising purposes, or in paid archives;
alter or distort the Content, in particular through unauthorized cropping or electronic modification;
remove or obscure source, copyright, or trademark notices;
use the Content in an unlawful, defamatory, or otherwise non-compliant manner.
4.3 License Granted
PPN Source grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-assignable license to use and reproduce the Content for editorial purposes only. The "PPN Source" attribution must accompany any use of the Content.
For media:
the Content may be cropped but not modified without written authorization; hyperlinks to the Site must be kept intact.
For issuers:
you retain the rights to your press releases and grant PPN Source a worldwide, non-exclusive license to distribute them across its channels (Site, RSS feed, social media) for the period specified in the subscribed plan.
For creators selling content:
you warrant that you hold all rights to the files offered for sale and grant PPN Source the license required to host, display, and distribute them on the platform.
5. User Obligations
5.1 Issuers (SMEs, Organizations, Institutions)
distribute content that is lawful, accurate, and non-misleading;
refrain from any defamatory, hateful, pornographic, or violent content;
pay the fees applicable to the selected plan;
provide the information required for distribution.
5.2 Media and RSS Feed Subscribers
use the Content for editorial purposes only, with source attribution;
not redistribute the Content to unauthorized third parties, modify it, archive it without authorization, or exploit it for commercial purposes.
5.3 General Public
you may read and share published press releases using the provided sharing functions;
you may not reproduce the Content without authorization or use it for commercial or unlawful purposes.
6. Disclaimer and Limitations
6.1 Content Provided "As Is"
The Site and the Content are provided "as is." PPN Source does not verify information provided by third parties (in particular, issuers) and assumes no responsibility for errors, omissions, or delays in the Content, or for damages resulting from its use.
6.2 Exclusion of Warranties
To the extent permitted by law, PPN Source offers no warranty, express or implied, regarding the merchantability of the Content, its fitness for a particular purpose, the absence of viruses, or the security of communications transmitted over the Internet.
6.3 Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, PPN Source and its officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for indirect, special, or incidental damages (loss of profits, data, or business opportunities), nor for the acts or omissions of third parties, nor for the content of external sites linked to the Site. This limitation does not restrict the rights granted to consumers by law.
7. Security and Personal Information
Data protection:
personal information is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including Quebec's
Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector
(Law 25) and, where applicable, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for users in the European Economic Area.
User account:
you are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. Report any unauthorized use without delay to

Communications security:
Internet communications are not fully secure; PPN Source cannot guarantee against interception by third parties.
8. Notifications and Alerts
Subscribers (media, issuers) may receive notifications regarding relevant press releases. You can manage or disable these alerts from your account. Notifications are sent in compliance with applicable laws.
9. Suspension or Termination
PPN Source may suspend or terminate your access to the Site or the Services in the event of a breach of these Terms, in particular fraudulent or unlawful use, infringement of intellectual property rights, or disruptive conduct (spam, harassment).
Upon termination, you must stop using the Site and the Services and delete PPN Source Content from your systems. Amounts owed for Services already provided remain payable.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of the judicial district of Montreal, Quebec, subject to public-order rules that protect consumers. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.
11. Changes to the Terms
PPN Source may update these Terms. The date of the last update appears at the top of this document. Your continued use of the Services after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. General Provisions
Severability:
if any clause is found invalid, the remaining clauses stay in effect.
No agency relationship:
these Terms create no partnership, joint venture, or mandate between you and PPN Source.
Assignment:
you may not assign your rights or obligations without the written consent of PPN Source.
Entire agreement:
these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the terms specific to the subscribed plan, constitute the complete agreement between you and PPN Source regarding the Services.

Appendix — Definitions
Content:
texts, images, videos, audio files, software, code, and any other material published on the Site or distributed through the Services.
RSS Feed:
a syndication service allowing authorized media and subscribers to receive press releases in real time.
Issuer:
a person or organization (SME, organization, institution) using the Services to distribute a press release.
Media:
a journalist, newsroom, influencer, or digital platform subscribed to the RSS feed or the Site.
Creator:
a photographer, videographer, or correspondent who produces content and, where applicable, offers it for sale on the platform.
Correspondent:
a contributor authorized by PPN Source to produce and submit journalistic content for the platform.
Services:
all services offered by PPN Source — press release publication and distribution, RSS feed, media channels, e-commerce space, and related services.
